Semester 1
This module will analyze the political economy of the new media, beginning with convergence and the implications thereof. The main focus of the course will be on South African policy and regulation of the telecommunications and broadcasting sectors.
3rd Year
The 3rd Level modules take to more advanced levels the themes explored at the 2nd level. MCS Major students must take four of the MCS modules offered.
